I don’t agree with you. Rentacoder will not be the best freelance site. There are many other sites which are better than Rentacoder.
Freelancer.com, Scriptlance.com and many other best sites are there. For more suggestions

Yeah, rentacoder gets me some regular work. I haven’t used it for a while as I have my regular client base in London but it is very handy for when you have nothing and need some money. It just doesn’t pay as well as a local job.. well, for me anyway.

I’m surprised scriptlance wasn’t mentioned on the list. That website is pretty active.
