Why not just use a screen shot? Alt+prtscrn and then ctrl+v into mspaint. That’s the way I’ve always done it.

This is true. I like these plugins because it makes it easier to get a section of a screen (such as a part of a webpage).

They also come in handy if you want to take a screenshot of a page that goes past the end of the screen (some of these will automatically scroll for you).

Interesting list, especially Fireshot. The screenshot tool that I use and am very happy with is skitch.com. It’s a desktop application for the mac but really gets the job done.
